’24 Babe Ruth AL Batting Title Bat
#24RUTHBAT is a piece of Babe Ruth’s legacy that most collectors spend their lifetimes searching for: a high-grade, game-used model bat from one of his most prolific seasons. “The Sultan of Swat” used this bat to clinch the American League Batting Title with a dazzling .378 batting average during the final games of the 1924 MLB Season. In addition to its historic status, the bat was graded an impressive PSA/DNA GU 9.5 and has excellent provenance: Ruth presented it to a teammate, Ernie Johnson, whose son in turn gifted it to Chicago Cubs shortstop, Lennie Merullo.
