Like an "IPO” in the stock market, this is your first chance to purchase shares in an asset. Once all shares are purchased, the offering is complete.

After the Initial Offering is complete, a ~90 day cooling off period begins, during which no transactions occur in anticipation of trading.

Bid/Ask trading begins, giving you an opportunity to sell your shares or add to your position.

Voting
Current investors vote on
whether or not an asset should be taken to auction or listed for
sale and also to approve or reject a collector's buyout offer to
purchase the entire asset.
Exit
If the majority of shareholders on Rally vote yes, the asset is sold, and the profits are split amongst all shareholders. If the majority vote no, it returns to trading on Rally.

Ian Fleming: Goldfinger (Dedication Copy)
At lunch in 1952, a young and insecure Ian Fleming presented his mentor and friend William Plomer with a draft of his first James Bond novel, Casino Royale. In large part thanks to Plomer’s insistence, Jonathan Cape published the book, and the rest — over 100 million books sold and a $7 billion movie franchise — was history. #59BOND is a 1959 First Edition Dedication Copy of Goldfinger, Fleming’s seventh Bond novel. Goldfinger was dedicated to Plomer, and #59BOND is the copy inscribed and given to Plomer by the author. William Plomer delivered the address at Fleming’s memorial service in 1964.
