’18 Rolex GMT Master II “Pepsi Jubilee”
The Rolex GMT-Master was introduced in 1955 at the request of Pan-Am Airways. It featured a dual-colored bezel that allowed pilots to keep track of two time zones while flying trans-oceanic routes. The watch’s distinctive red and blue coloring soon earned it a nickname: “The Pepsi”. After a seven-year hiatus from Pepsi GMT production, Rolex released the 126710BLRO at Baselworld in 2018. The watch features a new bezel material and a new movement, but perhaps the biggest surprise was the unexpected re-introduction of the Jubilee Bracelet.
