OWN THE ~100 FT. SPECIMEN WHILE IT’S STILL BEING EXCAVATED

Barosaurus skeletons are among the rarest in the fossil world, and this specimen may be the most significant ever recovered. Still mid-excavation, this remarkable new addition to the Rally community offers an unparalleled entry point to the dinosaur market. The Barosaurus, a colossal plant-eater that roamed 150 million years ago, stretched nearly 100 feet in length and weighed over 20 metric tons. Discovered in 2020 in Wyoming’s Morrison Formation, this specimen has already reached 65% bone completeness, with a final target exceeding 75%. Many of its critical elements, including the hips, the complete left leg, and a full series of articulated vertebrae, have already been recovered. The fossil’s exceptional state of preservation, especially the articulation of vertebrae and natural bone coloration, speaks to its extraordinary mark of quality.  Excavation will conclude in the late spring, with preparation for sale targeted at the end of 2026. Given its massive scale, the fossil will remain unmounted, leaving future mounting to the ultimate buyer and allowing investors to maximize outcome and speed to market. Full documentation, excavation records, and a certificate of authenticity accompany the specimen. This discovery has already drawn interest from top museums and collectors.
