The most valuable Star Wars toy in history never even reached retail shelves. Instead, Kenner was forced to pull production of the Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Action Figure while it was still in the prototype stage. This came after Matell recalled another toy with a rocket-firing accessory due to a series of incidents in which children were severely injured. #BOBAPROTO is one of ~100 prototypes ever produced. Graded AFA 80, just 15 L-Slot examples have ever been graded by AFA. The only public comparable sale on record went for $236K in June 2022.
