Once Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegel’s Superman hit the pages of 1939’s Action Comics #1, it wouldn’t be long before the last son of Krypton was given his own self-titled series. #SUPERMAN6 is an example of the sixth issue of Superman, the first to feature what is now considered to be the official Superman logo. Perfected by famed designer Ira Schnapp, the five previous Superman logos had been hand-drawn by Schuster without consistent uniformity. #SUPERMAN6 is a 1940 Superman #6 Comic Book. As 1 of 3 graded CGC 8.5, just one example is graded higher.
